Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The paper has not been published prior to submission to the journal.

  • The file is in OpenOffice format.

  • Whenever possible, URL references have been checked.

  • The text has been formatted using the journal's template with the relevant styles for titles, author's reference, notes, ... Words are italicised rather than underlined (except for URL reference); images, diagrams and grids are inserted within rather than at the end of the text.

  • The text and bibliographical references conform themselves to the journal's stylesheet - to be found in the Guidlelines for the authors, on the About page

  • The author has checked the instructions to Ensure a blind review

Author Guidelines

Papers will be in English or in French.

The article will fall within a bracket of 35,000 to 55,000 characters (including spaces).*

 

Submissions include:

  • an abstract in French (about 250 words)

  • an abstract in English (about 250 words)

Authors will take care to follow the stylesheet's guidelines to make online publication easier in conformity with the journal's standard layout.

 

Texts will be submitted in OpenOffice format - freeware to download HERE - using the template. Download the Directions for use and check the different formatting styles in the style list whenever required.

Before uploading the submission authors are required to make sure they have filled in the relevant indexation fields (Discipline; Key-words; Geographic or historical area; ...) to be used by the internet search engines.

 

  • Any submission well in excess of or below the required size will be rejected.

Copyright Notice

  • Work submitted for publication must be original, previously unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. If previously published figures, tables, or parts of text are to be included, the copyright-holder's permission must have been obtained prior to submission.

Privacy Statement

The use of the names and email addresses registered on the review's site will be restricted to the review's specific purposes as stated in its policies and will not be communicated to any other party.
